Seminar on localizing sustainable development held

A seminar on “Localising of Sustainable Development” was organized jointly by Innovation & Development Associates (iDEA) Foundation and International Research Center SIMEC Institute of Technology, a press release said Wednesday.

Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Vice Chairman of iDEA Foundation and former Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister and Principal Coordinator of SDG’s Affairs, was present at the seminar as chief guest.

The keynote speech was presented by Curtin University Sustainability Policy (CUSP) Institute, Australa Director Professor Dr. Dora Marinova.

Prof. Dr. Julia Richardson, head of the school of management and marketing department of Curtin University, Australia, was present as the special guest.

Advisor consultant of SDG Action Research Dr.Moazzem Hossain, Managing Director of Circular Economics Pte Ltd. Dr. Asif Siddiqui, Principal Researcher, iDEA Foundation Hossain Samad, Chaired by President of SIMEC Institute of Technology Professor Dr. Md. Monirul Islam delivered speeches at the seminar.
