Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited organized special Doa Mahfil and Quran Khwani at its corporate head office as well as all its branches and sub-branches on the occasion of its 21st anniversary on Tuesday.
The bank, which started banking operations on May 10, 2001, has been operating banking activities by complying Islamic Shariah.
The bank has so far provided advanced banking services to its’ customers through 132 branches, sub-branches, priority banking units, offshore banking units, a remarkable number of ATM booths and agent banking outlets in remote areas of the country.
As on April 30, 2022, the total deposit and investment amount was about Tk. 44,726.00 (forty-four thousand seven hundred twenty-six) crores. The total volume of import and export trade from 1st January 2022 to 30 April 2022 was about 19,128.00 (nineteen thousand one hundred and twenty-eight) crores. At present the number of customers of this bank is more than 11.20 lakh.
The Emerging Credit Rating Limited (ECRL) rated the Bank AA in long term and ST-2 in short term category for the year of 2021.
