Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. recently handed over relief to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Traffic, Gulshan Zone to help unemployed and helpless people as a Corporate Social Responsibility of the Bank, said a press release.
The Company Secretary of the Bank Md. Abul Bashar handed over more than 200 packets of relief items to Md. Rabiul Islam, DC, Gulshan Zone. Among others the Inspector of Police, Traffic, Gulshan Zone Mostafa Kamrul Hasan was also present.
Rice, pulses, potatoes, salt, flour and soap distributed to each family as relief, the release read.
