SJIB, ICD sign MoU

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIB) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), a member institution of the Islamic Development Bank Group in the event IsDB Group Private Sector Forum (PSF)-2024 held at the Inter-Continental Riyadh, KSA. The Managing Director of SJIB, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and the Chairman of IsDB Group H.E. Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Among others, the Additional Managing Director & COO of SJIB M. Akhter Hossain was also present at the ceremony. Under this agreement Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. will receive USD 35 million assistance from ICD in Shariah based financing.
