Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited has distributed relief materials among the unemployed people at Palash, Narsingdi District as part of the CSR activities of the Bank, says a press release.
As relief each family got 10 kg rice, 02 kg pulses, 01 liter Oil and 01 kg salt.
Dr. Anwarul Ashraf Khan (Dilip), MP distributed relief items among 650 families as chief guest on Saturday while Lt. Colonel Sufian Murad Rabban (Retd.) presided over the program.
Among others, the Palash Upazila Chairman Syed Jabed Hossain, the Mayor of Ghorashal Municipality Md. Shariful Haque, the Ward Commissioner of Ghorashal No.1 Municipality Md. Kabir Hossain, the representative of Electra International Mr. Md. Abdullah Shahid, the Head of Public Relations Division & Bank Foundation of the Bank Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha and local prominent people were also present in the relief distribution program.
