As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIBL), the bank donated Tk. 1 crore 50 lac to Hon’ble Chief Adviser Relief & Welfare Fund for the help of flood affected people on 02nd September 2024. The Company Secretary of SJIBL Md. Abul Bashar handed over the cheque to Faruk E Azam, Bir Protik, Hon’ble Adviser, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief. At that time the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Mr. Anjon Chandra Paul and the FAVP Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Md. Sanaur Rashid (Sagor) were also present.
