Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) has donated Tk. 4 crore to the Prime Minister’s Ashrayan Project-2 for constructing home for the homeless people, a press release said Sunday. Chairman of the bank foundation, Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan, MP, and the chairman of executive committee of the bank, Akkas Uddin Mollah, handed over the cheque to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office on Sunday. Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) Md. Nazrul Islam Mazumdar was also present.
