Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) held its 357th meeting of the board of directors on 05th April 2023 at corporate head office of the bank, a press release said Thursday. The meeting was presided over by Abdul Karim (Nazim), vice-chairman of the board of directors of the bank. A few number of directors of the bank participated in this meeting through digital platform. The board recommended 15 percent dividend (12 percent Cash and 3 percent stock) for the shareholders for the year ended 31st December 2022. Vice-chairman of the board, Mohiuddin Ahmed, directors, Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan, MP; Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Md. Abdul Barek, Abdul Halim, Akkas Uddin Mollah, Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, A. K. Azad, Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Md. Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Mrs. TaheraFaruque & Mrs. JabunNahar (participated in this meeting through digital platform)and Fakir Mashrikuzzaman; independent director, Ekramul Haque, MD and CEO, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, and the company secretary of the bank, Md. Abul Bashar, were also present.
