Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. (SJIBL) organized a financial literacy seminar in Tangail on remittance for raising social awareness for legal channel of expatriate income-for the wage earners and their family members on 07th October 2023, a press release said Saturday. Additional Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank M. Akhter Hossain was present as chief guest. Assistant Director of Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank Md. Shamim Al Mamun also attended the program as observer from the side of regulatory body. The program was attended by around 35 participants. Head of International Division of SJIBL Md. Abdul Majid, the Manager of Tangail Branch Md. Abdul Khaleque, the AVP from CHO of Financial Inclusion Unit Md Manzur Rahman and the In-Charge of Foreign Remittance Mr. Shawkat Hossain were also present.
