ShahjalalIslami Bank Limited (SJIBL) held its 343rd meeting of the board of directors at corporate head office of the bank through a video conference, a press release said Thursday. The meeting was presided over by chairman of the board of directors Mohammed Younus. The board approved a number of investment proposal and reviewed various issue related to policy of the bank. Vice chairmen of the board Mohiuddin Ahmed, directors Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan,Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Abdul Karim, Abdul Halim, Khandaker Sakib Ahmed, Md. Moshiur Rahman Chamak,Mrs. TaheraFaruqueand Mrs. JabunNahar; alternative director Md. Masud, independent directors Ekramul Haque, K. A. M. Majedur Rahman and Nasir Uddin Ahmed; the MD and CEO M. Shahidul Islam and the company secretary of the bank Md. Abul Bashar were also present.
