A month-long training course on entrepreneurship development organized by the Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) ended recently at its training academy, a press release said Thursday. The training was aimed at making new entrepreneurs under the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) of the Bangladesh Bank. The SME & agriculture investment department of SJIBL conducted the training course. Chairman of the board of directors of SJIBL, Mohammed Younus attended the concluding ceremony of the training course as the chief guest and distributed crests and certificates among the participants. The director of BB’s SME and special program department Md. Jaker Hossain was present at the ceremony as special guest. DMD of SJIBL Md. ShahjahanShiraj, the additional director of BB’s SME and special program department Arifuzzaman, joint director Mohammad Zahid Iqbal, principal of SJIBL training academy Md Saidur Rahman, head of SME & agricultural investment department of SJIBL Md. Abdur Rahim were also present.
