Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. organized an uthan-boithok meeting about financial inclusion activities, sustainable finance, economic growth and to encourage women’s participation in financial activities at Birulia of Savar on Saturday, said a press release.
The objectives of the meeting was direct discussion with the customers about their business ventures, be aware of financial needs and exchange views.
Md. Akhter Hossain, senior secretary, was present as a chief guest to encourage new entrepreneurs and self-employment in the field of agriculture and SME sector. Md. Abdul Karim, director general and additional secretary of Sheikh Hasina National Youth Development Institute, Md. Hemayet Hossain, executive director of RISDA-Bangladesh Ltd., and Kazi Golam Ali Sumon, agricultural researcher and scientist delivered their valuable speeches as special guests, the release read.
