Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) has signed an agreement with FedEx (Bangladesh Express Company Limited) on 5 January 2023 at the bank’s corporate head office, a press release said Saturday. MD and CEO of the bank, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, and director and COO of FedEx, Md. Zakir Hossain, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Under this agreement SJIBL will be able to transmit international documents and parcel at a minimum cost within shortest possible time through FedEx. AMDs of the bank, Abdul Aziz & M. Akhter Hossain, DMD, Imtiaz U. Ahmed, head of common services division of the bank, Abul Bashar Md. Zafry, head of international division of the bank, Mohammad Abdul Majid, associate director of FedEx, Md. Arifur Rahman, general manager sales, Md. Ashiqur Rahman Chowdhury, manager sales, Bissowjit Sahaand were also present.
