Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank (BB) recently to provide loans to the agriculture sector at 4 percent rate under a refinance scheme, a press release said Wednesday.In the presence of BB Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder, the Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Director of Agricultural Credit Department of BB Md. Abul Kalam Azad signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Head of SME & Agricultural Investment Division of Shahjalal Islami Bank Md. Abdur Rahim was also present along with other senior officials of BB at the signing ceremony.
