SJIBL signs remittance deal with NEC

Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. signed a remittance drawing agreement with National Exchange Company (NEC) at the bank’s corporate head office recently, a press release said Wednesday. Managing Director & CEO of ShahjalalIslami Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and the Chairman of National Exchange Company Mohammed Idrish Farazy signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Under this agreement Bangladeshi expatriates living in Italy now can send their money safely and quickly to their near and dear one in Bangladesh by Electronic Fund Transfer through Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Additional Managing Director & CBO of ShahjalalIslami Bank Ltd. Abdul Aziz, Additional Managing Director & COO of the bank M. Akhter Hossain, the Head of Treasury Jahangir Javed, the Head of International Division of the Bank Mohammad Abdul Majid, the Director of National Exchange Company Dr. Anower Farazy Emon, the Country Manager Kazi Abdullah Al Masum, the Deputy General Manager of National Exchange Company Rashidul Islam were also present.
