Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) has received special appreciation from the Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) for contribution as one of the top taxpayers in the banking sector for the financial year 2021-22, a press release said Thursday. The NBR organized a special appreciation ceremony for top taxpayers where the director general of Central Intelligence Cell (CIC) of National Board of Revenue AKM Badiul Alam was present as chief guest. Chief financial officer of SJIBL Md. Jafar Sadeq, received the special appreciation from Ms. Rownak Afroz, tax commissioner of Tax Appeal Region-2, who attended the event as special guest. Tax Commissioner of LTU Md. Iqbal Hossain was also present.
