SJIBL wins first prize in ICMAB

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC won First Prize (Gold Award) in “ICMAB Best Corporate Award-2022” for excellence in overall banking activities in 2022. The prize was handed over in the Private Commercial Bank (Islamic Operation) category on 07th November at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital Dhaka with a ceremony. The Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed received the award from Mr. Tipu Munshi MP, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. While receiving the award, the Additional Managing Director & CBO of the Bank Mr. Abdul Aziz and the Chief Financial Officer of the Bank Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA were present. Among others the Senior Secretary of Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Tapan Kanti Ghosh, the Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, the Chairman of Financial Reporting Council (FRC) Professor Dr. Md. Hamid Ullah Bhuiyan, the President of ICMAB Mr. Md. Abdur Rahman Khan, FCMA and the Chairman of Corporate Award Committee Mr. Arif Khan, FCMA were also present in the award program.
