Best Electronics, a prominent name in the electronics industry, proudly announced the appointment of Syed TahmidZamanRashik as its new Managing Director & CEO, effective January 1st.
Rashik returned to Best Electronics, where he initially joined in 2015 as the Director of Marketing. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in steering the company’s marketing strategies and expanding its footprint to over 120 company-owned outlets. His contributions also led to securing distributorships for esteemed global brands, including Hitachi, Sharp, Whirlpool, and Panasonic, contributing significantly to the company’s growth.
After a brief hiatus from the corporate world in 2019, Mr. Rashik ventured into academia, serving as a professor at renowned colleges in Canada. His experience in academia enhanced his strategic acumen and leadership skills, further enriching his expertise in the business landscape.
Rashik holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Newcastle University and a master’s in Strategic Marketing from Imperial College London. His blend of academic prowess and hands-on experience in the industry positions him as a valuable asset to the company.
Best Electronics was founded in 2013 as a concern of Zaman Group, founded by SyedAsaduzzaman who will continue to serve as the Chairman, passing on the legacy to Mr. Rashik, signifying a significant milestone in the company’s journey.
