Uupay, a leading mobile financial service provider in the country signed an agreement with the Chandpur Police recently for traffic prosecution fee payment through upay, a press release said on Monday.
A T M Tahmiduzzaman, member, board of directors’ of UCB Fintech Company Limited (upay) and Milon Mahmud, superintend of police of Chandpur district signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the office of Chandpur Police Super, the release read.
The deal would facilitate the Chandpur people to make on spot traffic fine payment from their upay accounts for any violations of traffic rules.
Senior officials of the both organizations were present during the signing ceremony.
