Uber offers 21pc discount to riders marking International Mother Language Day

Marking the International Mother Language Day on February 21, Uber Sunday announced a 21% discount offer with a promo code “OMOR21” for all the rides to and from ShaheedMinar.

Uber stands in solidarity with the people of Bangladesh and pays tribute to the brave Dhaka University student martyrs who sacrificed their young lives during the nationwide protests against a foreign language imposition, in 1952.

The two day discount offer is available to all registered riders while booking rides on Uber Moto, Uber X, Uber XL, Uber CNG and Uber Premier, to and from ShaheedMinar. The promotional offer is valid for a maximum of two trips per rider across greater Dhaka city from 6 pm, Sunday, February 20 to 11.59 pm, Monday, February 21.

To avail this offer, registered riders need to tap on the profile icon on the top right of the app’s home screen, select “Wallet”, scroll down to “Promotions”, select “Add Promo Code” and type in the code OMOR21.
