United Commercial Bank Ltd. (UCB) will finance the new entrepreneurs trained by the bank under Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) of Bangladesh Bank, a press release said Tuesday. BB governor Abdur Rouf Talukder, deputy governor Abu Farah Md. Nasser, and UCB Managing Director & CEO Arif Quadri launched the lending programme by handing over a cheque at a conference arranged by BB. Md. Ekhlasur Rahman, executive project director of the SEIP project, Md Shah Alam Bhuiyan, deputy managing director, UCB, Md. Mohsinur Rahman, SVP & Head of SME, UCB and other senior officials from BB were also present at the event.
