Unilever Consumer Care Limited (UCL) has won ‘Gold Award’ in the ‘Corporate Governance Excellence Award-2021’ of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) in the ‘Food and Allied Companies’ category, a press release said Tuesday. UCL got the award in recognition of transparency, accountability and discipline in corporate governance at a recent event in the city. Salman F Rahman, the Private Industry and Investment Adviser to Prime Minister, handed over the award to Mohammad Naharul Islam Mollah, company secretary of UCL, and Md Humayoun Kabir, head of finance. M. A. Mannan M.P, Minister of Planning, Nazmul Hasan Papon, the president of BCB, Mohammad Asad Ullah, M Nurul Alam were also present.
