Union Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB), a press release said Monday. Under this agreement all customers of Rural Electricity Samity of BREB shall be able to pay the bill through mobile or online banking by all branch and sub-branches of the bank. Dipankar Biswas, member (finance) of BREB, Md. Nazrul Islam, DMD of Union Bank Limited, and Md. Abdul Hai, secretary of BREB, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Md. Hossain Patwary, controller (finance and accounts) of BREB, and Md. Shahriar Rauf, in-charge of corporate affairs and branding division of the bank, were also present.
