Vivo is at the top of the Chinese smartphone market. In the second quarter of this year, Vivo has risen to the top, leaving other brands behind.
This is according to a recent report published by the market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC). Vivo also topped the country’s smartphone market in the first quarter of the year.
In the second quarter of this year, i.e. from April to June; Vivo has topped the Chinese smartphone market for the past three months. This multinational technology company is consolidating its position not only in China but also in the global smartphone market. Vivo’s smartphones have already reached more than 50 countries.
According to the report, Vivo currently controls 23.5 percent of the Chinese smartphone market, up from 16 percent in the second quarter of last year. That means Vivo is currently one in every four smartphones in the Chinese market.
The IDC report was published on July 26. According to the US-based company, Vivo’s one-year growth rate in the Chinese market is 23.6 percent. Vivo has consistently topped the smartphone market in the global epidemic. From budget phones to flagship phones, the company is also gaining customer satisfaction by bringing all types of price structure smartphones to the market.
