21st AUPF held

The 21st Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) was held at Siam University on November 27-28, convened 57 participants from 17 universities, exploring the theme “Higher Education by Design in a Disruptive Environment.” The forum’s discussions, spanning curriculum and learning design, technology integration, research innovation, and sustainable student activities, underscored the transformative influence of design thinking on higher education paradigms. This collective vision, shared by academic leaders, envisions a higher education landscape characterized by adaptability, innovation, and a forward-looking spirit.

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil International University and President of the Association of Universities of Asia & the Pacific (AUAP), played a pivotal role in the event. He contributed valuable insights to the “Presidential Panel Discussion on the Theme ‘Higher Education by Design in a Disruptive Environment’ and delivered keynotes in a session focused on “Student Activities and Sustainable Design.” Additionally, Daffodil International University solidified its commitment to global collaboration by signing nine agreements with esteemed institutions, including Agh University of Krakow, Anhui University, VIT Bhopal University, VIT AP University, Cambodian University, Zhejiang University, Dongseo University, Pan Pacific University, Samar State University, fostering international collaboration on various academic fronts.

The AUPF 2023 stands as a beacon of dedication from academic leaders towards redefining and enhancing higher education in response to contemporary challenges. Beyond insightful discussions, the forum marked a significant step forward in fostering international collaborations and advancing the education sector.
