Anusha of NSU  recieives Diana Award 2022

Anusha Chowdhury is a founder, philanthropist, public icon, entrepreneur and a mental health advocate. Her expertise covers the grounds of everything, from startups to a Mental health care organization. She always has been fascinated by the business world that’s why she chose to study business and hence completed her Bachelor’s in Business Administration, earning a major in marketing from North South University.

Anusha, aside from being a successful entrepreneur, has been working tirelessly to promote mental health and wellbeing through her organization. Her journey in the field of mental health started when she lost her best friend to suicide. Watching young individuals suffering from mental illness, she co-founded ‘Let’s Talk Mental Health’ to normalize the discussion of volatile mental states. More than 37,000 people around the world have benefited from the organization’s safe environment, where they can express themselves without fear of being judged. With her self-funded ‘Bringing Smiles’ campaign, she has also ensured the mental wellbeing of 12,000 young people across Bangladesh.

The Diana Award , established in the memory of the Late Princess Diana of wales in 1998, it’s the prestigious honor (recognition) for young individuals who make impact in society for the sustainable development and humanitarian work.

She has received this incredible achievement for her marvelous work in the field of Mental Health, The way she has uplifted the Mental Health awareness campaign in different parts of the world and saved thousands of lives is what leads her to be The Changemaker.
