The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) and Daily Star hosted the O & A level Awards on24th February 2024 at the ShaheedSuhrawardy National Indoor Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka. for English medium students of Bangladesh, this is the most valued recognition for their academic excellence .The23rd annual awards ceremony was jointly organisedby The Daily Star and HSBC. said a press release.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Muhammed Zafar Iqbal, Chief Guest and eminent professor, Matt Cannell, Acting High Commissioner at British High Commission Dhaka, MahfuzAnam, Editor & Publisherof The Daily Star and Md Mahbubur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bangladesh. The event recognized approximately 2500 students, who were accompanied by more than 5000 family members.
The Daily Star has been holding the O & A level Awards Presentation Ceremony every year since 1999. Edexcel and Cambridge are the academic partners for this endevour.
