Daffodil International University-DIU distributed prizes among the winners of ‘Bangabandhu-DIU Online Art Competition 2021’ organized on the occasion of 46th Martyrdom Anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day. Artist KaruTitas and Artist Aminul Hasan Litu handed over the prizes among the winners at a prize-giving ceremony held Tuesday at its campus in Ashulia, said a press release.
Professor Dr Mostafa Kamal, Dean of Academic Affairs, Professor AMM Hamidur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof Dr. Engineer AKM Fazlul H0que, Registrar, Professor Dr. FarhanaHelalMehtab, Associate Dean, Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Md. Milan Khan, Librarian and Guardians of the winning participants were present at the award giving ceremony.The paintings of the winning students will be kept in the Bangabandhu Corner of the central library of the university.
Earlier, on August 21, 2021, Mustafa Monwar, a living legend Artist, announced the winners name through a virtual event. Fauzdarhat Cadet College student Md. Ishmam Ahmed has become the champion from the A category-College Level of the competition while Bir Shreshtha Munshi Abdur Rauf Public College student Nafisa Maliaut Eshamoni has become runner-up. On the other hand, Samanta Sajjad Shraboni, a student of Daffodil International University became the champion from B category-University Level while Nazmun Nahar Ripa, a student of the Govt. College of Applied Human Sciences has become Runner up. E-certificates have also will give to all the contestants participating in the competition within the very shortest time. Students from a total of 24 educational institutions from 10 districts of the country participated in this competition.
