Daffodil International University (DIU) Tuesday organized an orientation programme for the students of Fall-2022 semester and farewell ceremony of the Department of Pharmacy, a press release said Tuesday.
Md. Muin Uddin Mazumder, COO of Synovia Pharma PLC, was present at the programme held at International Conference Hall of the university as the chief guest.
He said, “There is enough scope for a pharmacist to build his career in the pharmaceutical sector, as there is huge demand for qualified pharmacists in the country and abroad. Pharmacists currently work as part of drug distribution system, research area, regulatory team, production and quality control.”
Professor M. Lutfar Rahman, VC and Professor S.M. Mahbub UlHaque Majumder, Pro-VC were present as the guest of honor.
Professor Md. Bellal Hossain, associate dean of Faculty of Allied Health Science (FAHS), presided over the program.
Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, director of students’ affairs, and Dr. Sharifa Sultana, associate head of the department of Pharmacy, were also present.
