Daffodil International University (DIU) hosted a special day-long event on Sunday at the university’s green campus at Birulia titled Oitijjer Hat (traditional fair), a press release said.
The fair is for inspiring students to practice indigenous culture and heritage as well as entrepreneurship, where the students of the university presented all the traditional and rural culture, food, products from different parts of the country in different stalls. The main organizer of this magnificent event was the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of DIU.
DIU trustee board chairman, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, was present at the opening ceremony of the program as the chief guest. Mominul Haque Mazumder, treasurer, dean of the faculty of business and entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Md. Masum Iqbal, head of the department of innovation and entrepreneurship, Md. Kamruzzaman, were also present.
