DIU hosts National Conference on industrial technology

Daffodil International University (DIU) is going host the National Virtual Conference on ‘Industrial Technology Innovation Management for Sustainable Economic Development of Bangladesh’ on September 25, 2021, a press release said.

The inaugural session followed by a Plenary Sessions of the conference will be held from DIU FaceBook Page and Campus TV along with online Zoom Platform. American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham), Bangladesh Association of Call Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) and Skill.jobs are the co-host organizations of the event.

Professor Dr. M Nawaz Sharif, an International Consultant of Management of Technology will present a paper on ‘Baseline Information Document’ in the conference. Prof. Sharif is a Former Director of UN-ESCAP’s Asian and Pacific Center for Transfer of Technology, Vice President of Academic Affairs of the Asian Institute of Technology, Doctoral Program Director of University of Maryland University College, Adjunct Professor of Johns Hopkins University, and Visiting Professor of George Washington University.

M A Mannan, MP Honorable Minister, Ministry of Planning, Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh has kindly consented to grace the Inaugural Ceremony as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. Md. SazzadHossain Member, University Grant Commission will be present as the Special Guest.

Syed Ershad Ahmed, President, American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmChem) and Wahid Sharif, President, Bangladesh Association Call Center & Outsourcing (BACCO) will also be present as the special guest. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, Board of Trustee of DIU will preside over the Inaugural session. Professor Dr. M LutfarRahman, Vice Chancellor of DIU and Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Group CEO, Daffodil Family will chair the Inaugural Session and Plenary Session respectively as the event Advisor and convener.
