A Job Utsob organized by the Daffodil International University (DIU) at Birulia, Savar has ended, a press release said Sunday.
DIU and UNDP’s Future nation Project jointly organized the biggest job festival of 2022 in Bangladesh, Future nation DIU Job Utshob 2022, from 01 to 03 December 2022 at the campus, close to capital Dhaka. Employers from 200 organizations were present with more than 3000Job offers at the Job Utshob.
At least 4300 job aspirants from various departments and recent alumni of the university have registered to participate in this three-day job utshob. The job fair will also feature 20,400 students’ self-assessment training and employability skills testing, apart from networking opportunities with alumni and corporate organizations.
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, chairman, board of trustees, professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, VC, professor Dr. S. M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumdar, Pro VC, Prasenjit Chakma, Assistant Resident Representative, UNDP Bangladesh, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Group CEO, Daffodil Family, Hossain Sadat, head of public regulatory affairs, Grameenphone Ltd. professor Dr. Mostafa Kamal, convener of Future Nation DIU Job Festival 2022 and K M Hasan Ripon, executive director, BSDI were also present at the closing session.
Among the 200 employers, Grameenphone, Banglalink, BRAC Bank, bKash, Pran Group, Le Meridian, ICDDRB, Metrocem, BASIS, US Bangla group, Creative IT, Roxi Paint, DataSoft, Akij Food and Beverage, 10 Minute School and many more are present, both for the interviews and for showcasing their products and services through a mega exhibition at the campus.
