Daffodil International University (DIU) press held book wrapping and book unveiling ceremony of its six new books at Amar Ekushey Book Fair premises on February 24, a press release said Saturday.
A K M Mozammel Huq, Minister, Ministry of Liberation War Affairs was present as the chief guest at the ceremony.
Professor of English Department and Convener of Editorial Board of DIU press Professor A. M. M. Hamidur Rahman, University Librarian and Member Secretary of the Editorial Council of DIU press. Dr. Md. Milan Khan, Professor Dr. Sheikh Rashed Haider Noori, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Mostaq Ibn Ayub, Dhaka University Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Department and DIU press advisor were also present. Many enthusiastic writers and students joined the program to make this unveiling and book launch event a success.
