Daffodil International University (DIU) has solidified its position as a leading research institution in Bangladesh by securing the 1st position among private universities and 2nd overall among more than 160 public and private universities in the country for Scopus-indexed research publications in 2023.
This significant ranking, published by Scientific Bangladesh, is based on the number of research publications indexed in Scopus journals and conferences, underscoring DIU’s strong commitment to academic excellence and impactful research.
According to the data, DIU has achieved an impressive 1,139 Scopus-indexed publications in 2023, showcasing the university’s growing contribution to global academic discourse and innovation. In comparison, other prominent private universities, BRAC and North South University, have demonstrated notable output (663 and 610 respectively), but DIU’s focus on fostering a robust research culture has placed it at the forefront of academic institutions in Bangladesh.
