DIU signs MoU with DCL for Study-Work program

Daffodil International University (DIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with country’s leading ICT conglomerate Daffodil Computers Ltd. (DCL) Wednesday for mutual cooperation for Study –Work program, a release said.

According to the agreement, undergraduate students of Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in E-Business Management program of Daffodil International University will get the opportunity to work at Daffodil Computer’s Ltd. Digital Marketing team as “Trainee Digital Marketing Officer” beside their regular study at DIU.

The budding graduates from the institutions could play a key role in technological up-gradation, innovation and competitiveness of an industry. This is an Eight (8) months long program of which first two (2) months, students will undergo different training on Digital Marketing from the industry experts.-Next Six (6) months students will be engaged with real life projects of DCL-After successful completion of the program, students will receive a certificate from DCL & DIU.

DCL will consider the remuneration of the enrolled candidates from DIU, only if any one of them successfully contributed their effort to DCL. Remuneration amount will be decided by the DCL authority after successfully completion of the COOP program.  

Jafar Ahmed Patwary , General Manager, Daffodil Computers Ltd. and Md. Ali Imran, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Business Studies of Daffodil International University signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.  Mohammed Nuruzzaman Group CEO of Daffodil Family, Syedul Islam, Senior Academic Counselor, DIU and other high  officials from DCL and DIU  were present in the signing ceremony.
