Daffodil International University (DIU) will host the 15th general conference of Association of Universities of Asia and The Pacific (AUAP) on November 14-16, 2022
The primary purpose of AUAP is to be the main platform for effective interaction and collaboration between member institutions and to be an effective voice for universities in Asia and the Pacific region for global exposure.
AUAP operations are facilitated by a three-member Secretariat, and different active sub-committees, focused on five essential themes of higher education: digital transformation, research & innovation, quality assurance, communication, and country chapter chair.
It has several publications, academic Olympiads for students, research fund and scholarships.
The conference in Dhaka will focus on the theme ‘Synergy between Information Technology and Quality Education in the 4IR Era’.
The six sub-themes on which AUAP leadership shall be interacting on are: online to blended learning using technology for higher employability, experimental and practical components in outcome-based education, project-based teaching and learning, innovation-incubation and entrepreneurship, international cooperation and mobility, and faculty development and research.
