DIU’s seminar on sustainable food systems

Environmental sustainability, and resource constraints Department of Agricultural science of Daffodil international university (DIU) organized a seminar on “Next Generation Agriculture for Sustainable Food Systems, opportunities for agriculturists” today on August 26, 2023 at Conference room of the university, a press release said Saturday.

Professor Dr Md. Bellal Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Science of DIU was present as the chief guest whileDr. Md. Roushon Jamal, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of Peoples Republic Bangladesh was the keynote speaker at the seminar. Professor Dr. M. A. Rahim, Head, Department of Agricultural science of the university presided ovr the seminar.

The seminar on provided a platform to explore innovative approaches and technologies in agriculture that can contribute to the development of a sustainable and resilient food system.

The event brought together agriculturists, researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and students to discuss the challenges faced by the agricultural sector and the potential solutions that the next generation of agriculture offers.
