Fareast International University (FIU) has entered into a landmark agreement with Daffodil Computers Limited (DCL) to implement a state-of-the-art integrated university management system, a press release said on Saturday. In this regard a signing ceremony took place at the FIU campus on June 12, 2024. Mr. Md. Moshiur Rahman, the Registrar of Fareast International University and Mr. Jafar Ahmed Patwary, General Manager of Daffodil Computers Ltd signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. Prof. Dr. Raquib Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor of Fareast International University and Dr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Group CEO of Daffodil Family along with other distinguished high officials of both the institutions were present at the MoU signing ceremony.
Under this agreement, Daffodil Computers Ltd. will design and implement advanced software aimed at streamlining and automating all administrative and academic processes at FIU. The system will encompass student admissions, information management, course registration, grading, scheduling, examinations, and result generation. Additionally, administrative tasks such as certificate verification, human resource management, and financial management will be digitized. Key features include a smart dashboard, remote approval management, smart tasks, and AI integration to enhance operational efficiency and educational quality.
