Smartphone brand Infinix recently presented a two-day robotics event ‘TechSpectra 2.0’ at BRAC University new campus, a press release said Tuesday.
Different exciting robotics competitions enthralled students at the campus during the event.
Hosted by the university’s robotics club, the event enabled over 500 tech enthusiasts to showcase their skills in robot building and programming. It commenced with the Idea competition, where students unveiled innovative concepts for future robotics projects.

The excitement peaked at the event during gaming competitions such as the ‘Soccerbot’ and the ‘Line Following Robot Race,’ where robots competed in real games to claim victory. The ingeniously crafted bots engaged in exhilarating matches, captivating the audience with their agility and precision.
The Soccerbot competition excited the crowd, with robots maneuvering a ball across the field trying to outscore their opponents. Meanwhile, the Line Following Robot Race was a nail-biter, as sleek robots zoomed down a tricky 3cm track, battling to reach the finish line first.
Beyond the contests, through TechSpectra, Infinix provided a platform for students to unveil imaginative robot designs addressing real-world issues, from firefighting to transportation. This event of showcasing skills and innovation signals a promising future for Bangladesh’s contribution in gaming and robotics technology.
The students have set high standards for the future, with Infinix encouraging them to embrace the present as the gateway to tomorrow. Top management from both Infinix and BRACU were present at the event among others to inspire the participants.
