The authorities of Islamic University in Kushtia have appointed Professor M Asaduzzaman of the Mathematics Department as the new dean of the Science Faculty, according to a press release issued on Thursday.
Prof. Asaduzzaman’s appointment is effective immediately, and he will hold the position for the next two years, overseeing the academic and administrative functions of the faculty.
In his first statement as dean, Prof. M Asaduzzaman expressed his commitment to the faculty’s development. “I will take necessary steps for the faculty’s development by discussing with our senior and new teachers to ensure we maintain academic excellence and foster a collaborative environment for growth,” he said.
Before assuming the role of dean, Prof. Asaduzzaman had served in various key positions, including as the provost of Saddam Hossain Hall and the chairman of the provost council. His leadership experience in student affairs and administration has earned him recognition across the university.
