Milestone School and College’s Uttara Model Town branch has organized a month-long annual sports competition as part of the co-educational programme, a press release said Monday.
The event held in the spacious grounds of Milestone School and College’s own permanent campus located in Diabari, Uttara will continue till mid-December.
Principal of Milestone College Professor Md. Shahidul Islam recently inaugurated the month-long sports competition by flying a dove, a symbol of peace. Vice-principal and in-charge of Milestone College Diabari Campus Mohammad Ziaul Alam and administrative director Md. Masud Alam were present at the ceremony.
Advisor of Milestone School and College Colonel Nurun Nabi (retd.) provided full support for the month-long event.
This event includes intellectual and physical exercise events like running, handball, volleyball, cricket, football, long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin throw, discus throw.
