Najmus Ahmed Albab, the trustee and author of Bangladesh Cancer Aid Trust and a cancer survivor, has recently launched his book of poetry called ‘Paprigulo’.
The book launching ceremony took place at the showroom of Amisheé Fine Jewelry, whose founder, Ms. SohanaRouf Chowdhury serves as the Vice President of BANCAT. The ceremony was attended byZakiaRouf Chowdhury, Executive Vice Chairperson of Rangs Group; Lady Syeda Sarwar Abed, Senior Director of BRAC University; Mike Kazi, President Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Bangladesh accompanied by his spouse with others.
The book takes from Mr. Albab’s experience of life – his triumphs and his grievances. It is a personal anecdote that speaks of the raw essence of human life as not only relatable but also reflective of the inevitable complexity of our minds.
The author said, “The stage of life in which I fought cancer brought me painstaking assurance of the blessings I was living. After I survived it, I dedicated my resources towards cancer patients who are in need for financial or medical assistance. As such, my book ‘Paprigulo’ is very close to my heart, and is a cultivation of the same efforts towards fighting cancer.”
All proceedings earned from the sales of this book will go towards the¬ facilitation of cancer victims through BANCAT.
