National Institute of Science & Technology (NIST), a National University affiliated institute and governed by the Daffodil Family has celebrated 50 years of victory in their own campus at Panthapath, said a pressrelease.
The celebration event on 29th of December included Essay Writing Competition, A Seminar, Prize Giving Ceremony, Drama Performances on Liberation War, Poetry Recitation, Dance Performances etc. The seminar was presided by the president of the governing body of the NIST, a prominent scientist Professor Dr. Sufi Mustafizur Rahman.
The event’s chief guest was Heroic Freedom Fighter and journalist Alhajj Md. Mofizul Islam. The keynote speaker of the event was Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO, Daffodil Family and the inaugural speech was conveyed by the principal of the NIST Professor Md. Faiz Hossain.
The speakers have talked about various aspects of the great liberation war, sovereignty, democracy, principal ethics, patriotism etc. and the duties of the student in this pandemic-hit society.
The event came to a fabulous end with various performances from the students of Daffodil International Academy and National Institute of Science & Technology (NIST).
