North South University Pharmaceutical Club (NSPUC) in association with the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a colourful procession on the occasion of World Pharmacists Day 2022 on 25th September 2022, a press release said Sunday.
The spirit of the program was in accordance with this year’s theme “pharmacy united in action for a healthier world,” as set by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
The rally aimed to create further awareness of the continuous diligence of pharmacists to make rational use of medication more accessible, which was elucidated in the speeches of the respected guests and faculties present.
Pro-VC of NSU, Dr. M Ismail Hossain inaugurated the program and said “I congratulate all the young pharmacists before me.”
Chairman of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, NSU, Dr. GM Sayedur Rahman said, “The involvement of pharmacists in every sector of healthcare is yet to be established in our country.”
Faculty Advisor of NSUPC, Ms. Anika Tabassum Bristy and faculty members of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department were also present.
