NSU holds higher education seminar

The School of Health and Life Sciences has organized a seminar entitled “Opportunities for Higher Education at NAIST” in an effort to further bridge the gap between students of North South University (NSU) and esteemed faculties from foreign universities, a press release said Thursday.

Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) provides a multifaceted educational experience for graduate and doctorate students. To delineate the enrolling procedure and inform students of the many opportunities that await at NAIST, three venerable Professors were kind enough to clear many doubts in students’ minds regarding higher education in Japan.

Dr. Masashi Kawaichi, Professor & Head, Division for Global Education, NAIST shed light on his work to make quality education accessible on a global scale.

 NAIST has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with, Dr. Kawaichi.He said having students from Bangladesh currently studying at NAIST.

 Dr. Hasan Mahmud Reza, Dean of School of Health and Life Sciences graced the occasion by sharing with the audience his experience at NAIST as a former PhD student there.

Deans of different schools, Directors, higher officials, Faculties and students were also present at the programme.
