NSU holds programme on mixed method research

North South University (NSU) has organized a special lecture by research team behind the “Assessing adoption and Diffusion of Agricultural Innovations in Bangladesh” project on mixed method research held at AUDI-801, a press release said Tuesday.

The programme was attended by, VC, Prof. Dr. Atiqul Islam, Pro-VC, Prof. Dr. M. Ismail Hossain. Principal Investigator (PI) of the project, Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam, briefly introduced all attendees with the project and oversaw the proceedings.

Keynote Speaker for the event was Prof. Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Jackson, senior lecturer, Curtin University, Perth, Australia.

In attendance was Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami, Co-PI of the project and Dr. Md. Zulfikar Rahman, PI of the component organization: Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).

The project was awarded to NSU by the Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF).

 The session was broadcast live through zoom to the collaborative partners of the project: Curtin University (CU) and University of Western Australia (UWA).

 A lecture on mixed methods research was delivered by the esteemed Prof. Jackson which was then followed by a lively question and answer session.

 Prof. Dr. M. Ismail Hossain delivered the closing speech and then presented Dr. Elizabeth Jackson with a small token of gratitude with Prof. Dr. Katherine Li, director, office of external affairs.
