First death anniversary of M. A. Hashem, a Founder Trustee and several times Chairman, Board of Trustees, North South University (NSU), is being held on Friday (December 24, 2021) through various programmes.
In a press release, the North South University (NSU) said, “We appreciatively remember his huge contributions to the growth of the University. May Allah bless his soul”.
MA Hashem was the Former Chairman and Founder of Partex Group and former Member of Parliament. He was also one of the founders of The City Bank, and the United Commercial Bank (UCB) and served both the banks as chairman. Besides, he was one of the founders of Janata Insurance Company.
