NSU observes Int’l Women’s Day

North South University (NSU) organized a discussion meeting at its auditorium to observe the International Women’s Day on Friday, a press release said.

Writer and president of Bangla Academy, Selina Hossain, attended the event, chaired by NSU VC, professor Atiqul Islam,  as the chief guest. Board of trustees member Yasmin Kamal also spoke on the occasion.

Pro-VC, professor M Ismail Hossain, welcomed the guests, Dr. Nova Ahmed, professor of NSU’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, presented the findings from a study. FarhaNaz Zaman, marketing and premium segment head of Grameenphone, also spoke during the event. Dr. Nazmun Nahar, professor of the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at NSU and director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), made a presentation highlighting gender status at NSU.
