North South University (NSU) undertook various programs to observe “Martyred Intellectuals Day 2022” on Wednesday, a press release said.
A team of NSU members, led by Dr. M. Ismail Hossain, Pro Vice-Chancellor, NSU visited the Martyred Intellectuals Memorial at Rayer Bazaar, Dhanmondi, Dhaka to pay homage to Martyred Intellectuals. NSU BNCC coordinated this program. Mr. Mehedi Hasan, Commander, NSU BNCC and his team members represented NSU BNCC. The convoy including both academic and non-academic members. Among others students from different clubs of NSU were also present.
At noon, a discussion seminar was organized at the Syndicate Hall of the University. Prof. Atiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor, NSU chaired the session. Prof. Dr. Abdur Rob Khan, Dean, School of Humanities & Social Sciences gave the welcome speech. ProfessorDr. Sharifuddin Ahmed, Department of History & Philosophy was present as the Keynote speaker.
