 NSU signs deal with Laurentian University

North South University (NSU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Laurentian University, Canada to operate a series of programs for the benefit of the university’s students, a press release said Tuesday.

VC of NSU Professor Atiqul Islam and Dr. Serge Demers, associate vice president of Laurentian University signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides at a program held at the NSU campus on 20 November, 2022.

The purpose of this MoU is to develop academic and research cooperation and to promote mutual understanding between two educational institutions. It will also help the students to transfer credits.

Vice-Chancellor of NSU Professor Atiqul Islam said, “We hope that this MoU will help our students. In future, we can provide some other facilities to our researchers as well.”

He thanked Laurentian University for showing their support to NSU.

Swazo, director, office of research, Dr. Katherine Li, director, external affairs, Jamil Ahmed, director, public relations office and Dr. Krishna S. Challagulla, associate Professor – Mechanical Engineering, Sujoy Pritam, in-country representative (Bangladesh), International Recruitment, Ms. Khandoker Sumaiya Samah, International Recruitment Assistant (Bangladesh) were aslo present.
